Nate Jowett M.D., Ph.D.

 

Dr. Jowett is a surgeon-scientist driven to advance therapeutic outcomes for patients with motor and sensory deficits of the head and neck. After studying physics for his bachelor degree, he pursued medicine at the University of Toronto and surgical residency at McGill University. He then completed fellowship training in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Hamburg and Harvard University. He obtained a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from McGill University.  He has received graft funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the Charles Hood Foundation.
